Very Easy Interview – Overall Positive Experience – Yes, and I accepted – Sat, 19 Dec 2015

This was simply a preliminary phone interview. I had applied for another position within Apple and went through the phone screening process only a day or two prior. I felt it could have gone better and was told they would be in touch about scheduling the second stage of interviews. I accepted the notion that I didn't make the cut as most information here said this was done immediately if they liked your answers.
Two days later, already knowing full detail about the first phone interview, they contacted me about a completely different position. This time, upon confidently answering the preliminary questions, I was immediately scheduled for the second stage interview. They subsequently provided additional job information/requirements, the interviewer's contact information and links to HireVue for testing my equipment.
Overall, the process is enjoyable and going very well. Glassdoor has been a huge help with interview preparation. The answers here are great reference points.
