This review will probably make me sound bitter since I didn't get the job, but it felt like I was cheated out of an interview. The interview was with me and 3 other people, and the manager who we interviewed with seemed nice and energetic when she was greeting us, but then when sat down she asked us to introduce ourselves she started staring off into space looking at her phone and around the store. I was clearly confused and a little frustrated by this it was also odd because this is the first interview I've been to where the person interviewing me wasn't taking notes on my responses to their questions. How can I make eye contact and try to make a connection with the manager when she was clearly bored, or tired and plainly not interested in what I and the other candidates had to say. When I left the interview I asked the other candidates in my group "how do you think you did?", they also said the manager looked "uninterested" and "preoccupied". A day after the interview I got a rejection email from apple "best of luck on your future endeavors". I was very upset to receive this because I left the interview feeling cheated and confused, my group was the last group she interviewed that day it was around 7pm. I'm considering reapplying because working at apple is my dream job and I don't think I had a fair shot this time around.
