Average Interview – Overall Negative Experience – No – Mon, 16 Oct 2017

Interviewed Oct 2,017 in Cupertino, CA (took 28 days)
It was very weird that i got a call for this position when there was written no where in my resume that I have worked for hardware testing. Two initial rounds of phone interviews based on algo and OOPS concepts, then onsite back to back 8 rounds. It was very tiring. The lunch round very tiring as the interviewer would keep on asking random behavioral questions. I couldn't even get the chance to eat properly! But for onsite, prepare everything in the job description, expect lots of design questions. If you're lucky, maybe the interviewer would be an understanding person and would help you in those design questions. Otherwise, he would just get stuck to his system and force you to design his way even though it would not make sense at all. For my surprise, most of them didn't know about AWS!! But I am glad I did't make it through that because it was one of those positions which would sound like a step back to me in terms of professional experience.

Interview Questions
Expect random behavioral questions which have no practical relevance at all. Prepare design questions especially OOPS ones properly and on white board. Easy coding questions. Signed NDA so can't disclose all of those but nothing out of the blue really.
