I applied online and got an email from an HR woman in CA asking if I would mind chatting with her over the phone about 8 hours later. A few days later we talked on the phone and she interviewed my background and seemed to just be getting a feel for my communication skills. The next day I got an email inviting me to a group interview the next week. At this interview in NYC Headquarters we were interviewed in a group of 5 with one interviewer. The interview was very quick (maybe 20 minutes). She showed us a video about working at Apple and what we thought of it and what were some things we liked about it. She asked various questions and we went around the table and each were given an opportunity to answer in any order we chose. After that I got an email a few days later inviting me to interview at one of the stores with the managers there. The next week I interviewed one-on-three at the store with two store managers and one HR recruiter. Overall, the questions weren't too difficult. The interviewers were really engaging and seemed genuinely interested in what I was saying and it became more conversational than corporate professional. It seemed like the didn't care a whole lot about technical knowledge...I felt like in every interview they were testing me for personality and communication skills. Needless to say, I got a call 3 hours later asking me for my availability for training and was "officially" hired the next day!
